Google has launched its first tablet PC "Nexsus7" in the market. Nexsus7 is a low priced tablet of 11,000 INR. and must be like by peoples due to its full features supported with Operating System of Android's latest version i.e., Jelly Bean and its attractive price tag. Google launched Nexsus7 to compete with 'i-pad' of Apple and 'Fire' of Amazon. Nexsus7 is considere as an ipad killer. Google together with Aasus(company of  hardware), made the Google's Nexsus7 tablet PC. Nexsus7 loaded with Android's latest version 4.1 Jelly Bean and has new software that will increased its speed.

The HRD ministry and IIT Council arrived at a consensus over the entrance exam pattern for admission to the prestigious engineering institutes with an agreement on a new entrance test formula proposed by the IITs.
The agreement was reached at a meeting of the IIT Council convened in the capital to discuss the proposed common entrance test after oppositionf rom some of the IITs. The meeting was attended by directors of all IITs.
According to reports, all IITs have agreed to the new formula that has ended the row. In the new formula, two exams, main and advanced tests will be held.
The IITs would conduct an advance test in which top 1.5 lakh students from the CET would sit. This advance test would be held on a date different from the CET.
As per the new formula, IIT will take top 20 percent scorers of all boards and then conduct the final exam.
The new procedure will be implemented from 2013 session, if accepted by the ministry.
New selection process will be based on merit.
In an unexpected move, HRD Minister Kapil Sibal skipped today’s meeting with IIT Directors. Official sources saidthat he wanted to show that there is no political interference of the government in the decision.
After the crucial meeting ended, official from IIT Delhi said, “Now, no separate test is needed.”
"We have taken a unanimous decision to follow the formula suggested in Saturday's meeting. IIT will get control of advance test," said M. Anandkrishnan, chairman, board of governors, IIT-Kanpur.

Earlier, IIT-Delhi and IIT-Kanpur had rejected the proposed format on the ground that the test was"academically unsound and procedurally untenable".
The government had on May 28 announced the new test from 2013, under which aspiring candidates for IITs and other central institutes such as NITs and IIITs will have to take tests under a new format of common entrance test which will also take the plus two board results into consideration.

As per the news in the new Pattern IIT Exam the 70% weightage will be given to apptitute test and Class XII marks as well as other subjective test will be held for rest of 30% weightage. IIT Council Meeting the members Discussed about the weightage marks to calculate the Final IIT Result. the Final Ranks will be calculated based on 50% weightage based on Percentile Performance and 50 % weightage Based on the IIT JEE Score.

A common aptitude-cum-advanced knowledge test will replace the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in 2013. Test scores will have 60 percent weight for admissions; school board marks will have 40 percent. Test and board scores will determine admissions to all centrally funded engineering institutions.
IIT JEE 2013 exam date is still not announced so I cant give you exact date of exam but every year this exam is conduct in month of April so it may possible that in 2013 this exam conduct will conduct in month of April.

Secure Your Facebook Account

Facebook becomes an essential part of our social life. Because of its popularity the users of facebook on the target of hackers. Mostly familiar persons are looking to crack the security of facebook users. For an unknown person who never don't know you, its so difficult to hack your account because hackers use the combination of password according to your personnel info.  I have been posting some tips to secure your facebook account.

1. Change your Password once a month: This is the most simple task which you can perform to protect your account from being hacked. Make a complex password using digits and words as well as special symbols. It keeps protected from password being recognized by hackers.
Don’t keep your password releted to you mobile numbers, email or any other common name. It must be random. Use capital as well as small letters for your password. For example: P@s$w0rD is a strong password. It has numbers, symbols and also lower and upper case letter mixed. And it’s always better to keep changing your password at least once a month.

2. Hide Your Facebook email ID: Hackers usually hack into your email accounts first, and then send a forgot password request to the email id, and then hijack your account. This is because, any of your friends can easily see your email id associated with your Facebook account on your profile page.
To hide your email id, go to your profile > Edit information > Contact information , here you will see your email id. On the right side of your email id will be a drop down, click it, and select “only me” from the menu and save the changes.Now since you have kept your email id hidden, there is no way the hacker can send a password reset request! But you have to secure your Gmail account.

3. Change the answer ofyour Security Question: Using some social engineering skills, not only hackers but also friend can find your birthplace or any other related questions. So make sure your answer of security question is different and not to be easily guessed . For better security reasons, Facebook gives you an option of making your own security questions .Since you can do that, make a really random and easy question, say “What is your favourite song?” and keep the answer really simple like ”Ice Hockey” or “Football” and not any song name. Also make sure that you don’t tell anyone about these answers even in fun. This makes your security question severely hard to crack.

4. Setup Facebook login verification method: Facebook cares about its users very much, and that it why it has various advanced security option which you can turn on, like “ Login Notification"
Login Approvals is a highly advanced feature which adds another layer of security on your account. Every time you login to Facebook from any unknown device, Facebook will ask you to enter the device name first and save it. If anyone logged into your facebook account from an unknown device rather than you use it will send you an SMS that Unknown device logged into your facebook account. It is the probably the most advanced thing which you can do to protect your account from being used by a hacker. To turn on Login Approvals:
a. Go to the Security Settings by Account > Account Settings > Security.

b. Click on the Login Notification's section.

c. Check the box Email and Text Message . Save your changes. Make sure you have your mobile number verified with Facebook.

5. Always use Https protocol: If your facebook account use http protocol then it is not safe when you use your facebook account over wifi or public places like cyber cafe. So always use https encrypted protocol to save your account from being hacked. To turn on secure browsing
a. Go to the Security Settings by Account > Account Settings > Security.

b. Click on the Secure Browsing's section.

c. Check the box browse facebook on a secure connection (https) when possible.

This trick will be helpful for those who want to block access to particular websites on their system. Parents can block certain websites from their younger ones.


Simply follow below instructions to block any website:

1) Open My Computer.

2) Browse C: (or your Operating system drive).
3) Browse Windows –>System32–>drivers–>etc so the Location will be C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc In the etc folder look for the file hosts .
4) Open this file hosts with notepad.
5) Locate the line 127.0.0.1 local host.
6) To block www.google.com for example, just add this text under 127.0.0.1 local host: 127.0.0.1 www.google.com 127.0.0.1 www.yahoo.com
7) Save the file. In this way add any number of sites you want, however you will need to prefix it with “127.0.0.1″.


Remember:- This blocks the website from opening in any browser whether it is Mozilla Firefox orInternet Explorer
