Why Star News become ABP News ?

Star News have changed its name and becomes ABP News from 1st June. Everyone wants to know why star news has changed its name ?, therefore I am going to write about on ABP News.Ananda Bazar Patrika plans to promote its own brand and from now on popular Hindi news channel, Star News will be called ABP News; Bengali news channel, Star Ananda becomes ABP Ananda and Marathi news channel, Star Majha will be called ABP Majha. The three 24-hour news channels are owned by the Media Content and Communications (MCCS) – a joint venture between the Ananda Bazar Patrika Group and STAR India. STAR India and ABP, the principle shareholders, have agreed to discontinue the STAR brand affiliation with MCCS. Going forward, STAR wishes to focus on building itsbrand on its core business i.e.general entertainment. The core business of ABP is news and it wishes to promoteand establish its own brands in the broadcast news space through its subsidiary company – MCCS. MCCS has sustained its affiliation with the STAR brand for eight years and both have benefitted from this association. In these years the three newschannels have evolved into respected market leaders in their segment, which has helped MCCS become a strong company in the broadcast news space. Block any Website

This trick will be helpful for those who want to block access to particular websites on their system. Parents can block certain websites from their younger ones.


Simply follow below instructions to block any website:

1) Open My Computer.

2) Browse C: (or your Operating system drive).
3) Browse Windows –>System32–>drivers–>etc so the Location will be C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc In the etc folder look for the file hosts .
4) Open this file hosts with notepad.
5) Locate the line 127.0.0.1 local host.
6) To block www.google.com for example, just add this text under 127.0.0.1 local host: 127.0.0.1 www.google.com 127.0.0.1 www.yahoo.com
7) Save the file. In this way add any number of sites you want, however you will need to prefix it with “127.0.0.1″.


Remember:- This blocks the website from opening in any browser whether it is Mozilla Firefox orInternet Explorer

Try this funny trick with notepad. Continuously pop out your friend’s CD Drive. If he / she has more than one, it pops out all of them! By seeing the below image I hope you will understand what the below crazy script actually does.

Note: when you copy the above code and save it in notepad, make the following changes to the first line of code as showed in below screenshot Type the inverted Commas“ manually by typing through the keyboard. Double Click it if you wanna see it working. Its a very funny Notepad Trick.

Remember: Don’t worry when this crazy notepad trick opens your cd tray continuously. If you want to end this script simply Open Task Manager(Alt+Ctrl+Delete). Under Processes end the process “wscript.exe”
