Phishing: Hackers Fishing

In general term Phishing is a trick of the Criminally fraudulent process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, credit card details, bank account number and other login details.
If the criminals or other person get our sensitive information and login details of our accounts, then we are in a great trouble. Therefore, I am going to tells about how to avoid such troubles because the Viewer and Audience of my blog will not be cought by hackers who thought general public are like Fish and they trying Fishing(Phising) with them.

Tips For Avoiding Phishing:
  • About 85% peoples are suffers phishing from Spams and Emails. If you have recieved Suspicious of any Email with urgent request for personal information. Phishing typically include upsetting or exciting(but false)statement in their emails to get people to react immediately.
  • Install a Firewall and only allow the processes that you know to send information out from your computer. To update these settings follow these steps: If you are using Internet Explorer for web browsing then go to Control Panel>Internet Option>Advance. If you are using Firefox or other then Tools>option>Security.
  • Check if the website is secure or not before entering any sensitive information. Secure websites contain 'https://' at the website URL. When you navigate to site for payment via paypal, you should see the address in address bar in your browser you can see it 'https://' because the https in front of the URL indicates that you are now in a 'Secure Session'.
  • McAfee provide us a great tool that give advise us which websites are dangerous and which are not. You can download McAfee Sites Adviser here.
  • Scan your computer regularly for Spyware, and malware using Spybot search and destroy it.
