Summer Season on Fire In South Asia.During summer season Everyone must like to eat Juicy WaterMelon. Likely a popular choice when you were a kid, not only is it a great tasting snack, it is one that will help you lose weight while also boosting your nutritional intake. One of the best things about watermelon is that it contains so much water. Especially during the summer months, hydration becomes so important as you are likely sweating more than usual, further increasing your need.

1.Watermelon is thought to have originated in the Kalahari Desert of Africa. The watermelon was brought into America across the Atlantic oceans by African slaves.
2.By the 1600′s, watermelon made it’s way to Spain, China,Great Britain, and even farther beyond.
3.The flowering watermelon plant produces a fruit called by botanists “pepo” .
4.Watermelons are more than 90% water.
5.Watermelon is actually a vegetable and not a fruit. It isalso related to the pumpkin, cucumber and the squash. Watermelon’s official name is Citrullus Lanatus of the botanical family Curcurbitaceae.
6.In 1996 Guiness Book of Records lists the largest watermelon as being 262 pounds!Over 1,200 varieties of watermelon are grown worldwide.
7.A whole cup of watermelon contains only 48 calories.
