Make Your Facebook Account More Safe

Recently, A photo sharing site leaked the personnel pictures of Mark Zukerberg, owner of facebook which he had uploaded in his account. This gaves a message to administrator of facebook that it is a time to remove the defects of securities from facebook. Therefore Facebook took a some steps for its users to avoid the condition of theft for your personnel information.

  • SSL Encryption : Now Facebook uses SSL Encryption for browsing, In SSL Encrypiton format, the data of you personnel information encrypted in a secret code which can be read only by you, its hard to read for hackers. To activate SSL Encryption in your account go to Account Setting, click on Security and then Edit on 'Secure Browsing' and Save changes.
  • If You Are Using Apps and Games : Most Of hacking cases, I have seen that your account login details steal through sharing games and apps. So, if you are using games and apps in facebook then you must activate App Password setting by this you can use apps and games with unique password that not be similar like your login password. To activate App Password go to Account Setting, click on Security and then Edit on 'App Password' and Save changes.

  • Carefull in Sharing : If you want that nobody can use your information or status without your permission, then go to Privacy Setting and click on 'How Tag Works' and Edit your setting and Save changes.

  • Dont Forget To LogOut : Dont forget to logout after you have been finished your browsing on fb. The habbit of logout avoid the risk of LikeJacking. LikeJacking is a melicious technique of tricking users of a website into posting a facebook status update for a site, they didnt intentionally mean to 'Like'.
