Astitva

Astitva is a bold and daring film trying to throw a slap on the face of male chauvinism that has been dominating the female partners since ages. It shows how a husband's ambitious of making big in life renders his wife lonely and frustrated, and how circumstances force her to commit adultery. The movie was made both in Marathi and English by Mahesh Manjrekar who has written and directed it. Tabu, Sachin Khedekar, Mohnish Bahl, Smita Jaykar and Narmata Shirodkar are the star casts.
